My clients are consistently asking this question!! Which is why I always include a style guide as a part of the welcome pack upon booking a session with me.

However, I thought giving some tips and tricks on here would also better serve anyone who is looking to have their photos appear timeless and genuine.

Scott planned out his proposal to Emily months in advance! If you are trying to decide when the right time to take your family portraits are, the answer is whenever you want. Yes, I said it. Fall in New Hampshire is beautiful but it isn’t the only option! Our fall foliage has deep, rich colors so it is a popular time (for literally every human being on the planet haha) but the summer with wildflowers and warm glows is also such a stunning backdrop and is less tourist driven. Orrr maybe even consider a winter family session! Playing in the snow and having a snowball fight with your kiddos. Whichever season you choose, one thing is to be promised, I will deliver you a gallery of images you will cherish for a lifetime.

About two months ago I received an email from a beautiful bride with a special vision in mind. She wanted to surprise her husband with a vow renewal ceremony in the White Mountains of New Hampshire! Not only that, but she wanted to do it at the Sunset Hill House in Sugar Hill, NH (which in my opinion has one of the most stunning views in the north country).
